Howe and Coad is a building company based in Truro, Cornwall. We offer a very high standard of construction and design. We are a professional team with a down to earth, friendly attitude. Thomas Howe, our project manager, trained carpenter and builder is with you every step of your project. No changes throughout the project are an issue. If you are investing good money into your property, we want to make it perfect for you. Throughout out the build, Thomas will keep you up to date with progress and possible options to tailor an elegant bespoke space with relative ease and excellent craftsmanship.

If planning and building drawings are required, Colin Howe our in-house Architect can design and acquire the permission for your project.

You maybe struggling to envision the new space you are trying to achieve. Joey Howe is a 3D designer who can produce 3D pictures and videos with internal and external tours. So you can be sure the new space is exactly what you want before it’s built. This area can be explored before or after architectural drawings have been produced.

Mr & Mrs Pearson - Gamekeeper’s Cottage extension, bespoke garden office & landscaping

We engaged Tom to build an architect designed extension to our property together with necessary landscaping. Also to build a modern style garden room/office. We must say that we were entirely satisfied with the work, Tom and his team were always punctual, extremely tidy and helpful. They were flexible when necessary and good at problem solving. Mr & Mrs Collins - Full renovation to a Victorian terrace property

We inherited a near derelict Victorian terraced property that seemed to us to be beyond anything we could achieve to rescue it. Howe and Coad turned it into a clean, modern, beautiful family home in six months. The renovation was as smooth and stress free as I think it is possible to be. Tom's project management and communication was a huge part of this. We felt at all times that, while we were kept informed, we could also trust that work was progressing without us having to constantly be on site to check up. He was always available to talk through the work and any issues that needed addressing and we were really appreciative of how changes to the original plan were accommodated. Several weeks into the build it was apparent that our original plan for a downstairs bathroom wouldn't fit so rather than abandon the idea it was replanned and moved to another part of the building with no fuss (for us) and any additional costs outlined in advance. The site was always kept clean and tidy and neighbours were treated with the utmost courtesy and consideration which again reduced the stress for us. We couldn't be happier with our house and would not hesitate to recommend Tom and his team.
